— Modoc County Deputy Sheriff’s Association

I am honored to publicly endorse Ned Coe for re-election as Modoc County District 1 Supervisor.

Ned has been an integral and effective member of our Board of Supervisors, serving on multiple committees and consistently staying informed on local, state, and federal issues that impact Modoc County. His dedication to understanding and addressing the challenges facing our community is evident in the time and effort he puts into his work.

I have known Ned both personally and professionally for over 25 years. He works extremely hard for our county and remains a strong advocate for rural communities and the western way of life we value so deeply.

I strongly encourage the voters of District 1 to re-elect Ned Coe as your Supervisor.

 Tex Dowdy,  Modoc County Sheriff

“As Supervisor for District 1, Ned Coe helped us immensely with a county project.  He helped us navigate a ten month process, being available to answer questions and help us to understand the procedures that were required.  Ned answered our calls and emails in a timely manner, even when he was in Washington DC working with lawmakers to secure funding for rural schools and roads on Modoc County’s behalf. We appreciate his willingness to work with his constituents.

Steven and Patricia Smith

“We’re looking to build a new home soon, and I can tell you, the revision you implemented in the Solar Panel/Fire Sprinkler ordinance is a game changer. Thanks for your persistence!”

What Fellow Supervisors are Saying

I am proud to publicly endorse Ned Coe, Modoc County District 1 Supervisor, for re-election.

Ned has been an integral member of our Board of Supervisors. He has played a major role in bringing Modoc County back from the brink of bankruptcy, and he has worked harder for his constituents than anyone I know. Thanks in large part to his efforts, Modoc now commands real respect across the state and the entire country.

His dedicated advocacy for rural communities at every level — local, regional, state, and national — along with his leadership at the National Association of Counties (NACO), the California State Association of Counties (CSAC), and especially on NACO’s Public Lands Committee, has delivered tremendous value to our county and all its residents.

I wholeheartedly encourage the voters of District 1 to re-elect Ned Coe.

 Geri Byrne, District 5

Modoc County Board of Supervisors

I am honored to endorse Ned Coe for re-election to the Modoc County Board of Supervisors, District 1. I have had the pleasure of working with Ned for eight years and can confidently say that he possesses the necessary knowledge, qualities, and skills to continue to excel in this position.  Ned has demonstrated his commitment to public service by working tirelessly to represent Modoc County on numerous committees at local, state and national levels. All 18 committees he serves on are important with two being most notable for their representation of Modoc County. Those are the National Association of Counties (NACO) and the California State Association of Counties. Please join me in support of Ned Coe, Supervisor District 1

 Kathie Rhoads, District 3

Modoc County Board of Supervisors

Let me say a word about Ned Coe.

If you are fortunate to be represented by Ned you have one of the best voices in the public lands arena you can ask for. Whether in Washington D.C, Sacramento or anywhere in between, Ned is one of the most well spoken, knowledgeable voices on issues of federally managed lands hosted by Counties that you’ll find. Fair and appropriate funding to counties for Federal lands is critical to maintain basic services and management. Advocating for appropriate stewardship, wildlife management and agriculture are just some the areas of expertise where Ned’s knowledge benefits Modoc, and honestly all of us in public lands counties.  His voice is respected by many on all sides of the political spectrum in California and DC. His steady, consistent voice is a credit to the hardy and resilient citizens of Modoc County.

Lastly, Ned puts his County and his District first, always!

I am honored to be able to support Ned in his re-election.
